Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - Cody Yerkovich (r), 17, 1.82 m-tall, from the city of Kaitaia, was crowned Miss New Zealand World 2010 last Friday night in Auckland.
The new Miss New Zealand is part Maori, part German and part Croatian. She speaks English and Croatian.
The 1st runner-up, Georgia Easter (l), will represent New Zealand in Miss Tourism Queen 2010, while Emma McDonald, the 2nd runner-up, will compete in Miss International.

Gizem Memic (No. 14), from Ankara, is the new Miss Turkey 2010. She will represent her country in the Miss World pageant later this year.
The 1st runner-up, Serenay Sarikaya(No. 9), won the title 'Miss Turkey Universe'.
The 2nd runner-up, Dondu Sahin(No.19), will compete in Miss Earth 2010, and Dilay Korkmaz(No. 4), the 3rd runner-up, will go to Miss International 2010.
The winner, Gizem Memic, is a student of Interior Design at one of the best Universities of the Turkish capital. "She represents the diversity of the Turkish people, I believe she has all it takes to represent Turkey well in Miss World"
